SJ4000 Wifi Bricked / Black screen Problem Solution / Fix

After Wrong Firmware update my SJ4000 wifi showed black screen.
and it didn't boot like a brick. i bought it two days ago.... ;-(

First of all, check your SJ4000 is authentic. this is for authentic SJ4000 wifi

Scratch that and type in : www.sjcamhd.com/safe

- The Problem symptom is like this -

1. Upper Yellow Light is on.
2. Press the Mode(power) button for 3 Seconds Yellow light Off
3. Charging RED light is On.
4. No blue light
5. Screen shows nothing.
6. Can't connect with PC
7. Doesn't work at all.

- Here is Solution -

1. take off Micro SD card.
2. Put the Micro SD card into the reader(to usb or anykind)
3. Go to 'My Computer'
4. Right Click and format to FAT32
5. Download the Authentic Firmware here :

6. Unzip it
7. Put the FW96655A.bin file into your MicroSD card
8. Put the MicroSD card into SJ4000 Wifi
9. Turn On the SJ4000 wifi
10. Wait for a update. it takes less then 1 min.
11. Press the mode button 3 times
12. Find 'Format' - and do it (becuase the FW96655A.bin file keep updating, everytime you turn on your Camera)
13. Enjoy it !

My Problem was 'Bricked'
And i tried to use my Smartphone for putting the *.bin file inside of Micro SD card
Don't do that. it doens't work at all.

You need to do is.
Buy a Micro SD Card Reader ! and format the MicroSD card in windows. or MAC OS
it's cheap like 5$

And Warning !
Do not change the 'Bin file' name . i did it so mine was bricked
don't be stupid like me.

- Another Solution -

before my SJ4000 cam got bricked.

i updated wrong, so Something happend like doesn't work.

- the solution was like this -

1. Pull off the battery

2. Connect the Charger

3. Put in the MicroSD Card immediately !!

(Almost Same time, before boot)

When you put the micro SD card after turn on the SJ4000 

it's automaticlly shut down. So the timing is important. 

Put in the MicroSD card before the SJ4000 start booting !!
